Booked a couple of nights stay at the Notley Arms for myself and my mother in order to take part in the Honda Dave Thorpe enduro day over Exmoor. Beautiful and quiet location situated in Monksilver village. Simon & Caroline are fantastic hosts and made us both feel very welcome. Stayed for 2 nights while in the area. Simon is a great host even kept the place open when my flight was delayed and I missed the 9pm check in time. Lovely hot showers in room, the room was spotless too. Bar and restaurant could not fault, food was great! would recommend to anyone in the area wanting a place to stay and eat/drink.
On arrival we were met by Caroline and Simon who both were very friendly and made us feel very welcome!! We were shown to room 3 which was homely and comfortable. We then took a lovely cold beer out into the garden to enjoy the afternoon sunshine. We ate dinner both nights if our stay, the food was very plentiful and delicious!
