06/2022 - I should come here more often than I do. The beer is always in prime condition, the staff affable and the food beyond reproach.On this particular Sunday, I stopped for the Sunday roast. The lamb was a trifle more done than I prefer, but I was late in the day. Good hard working community pub. Popular with locals; always something on. As a CAMRA groupie, can't say the range of ales sets the world on fire, but the inevitable Butcombe is always well kept. Haven't eaten, but suspect the fare is good. The Butchers is the sort of place we need to support as pubs like this are disappearing fast. Respect.

A lovely traditional friendly pub with garden. Regular bands and singers, great tasting food and a decent range of drinks including cask ales.... All run by a class act Mark and Annie. We have had some of the best times at the Butcher's Arms ❤️. Definitely worth swinging by for a few pints and some grub ?
