Barley Mow, 131 Exeter Rd, Rockwell Green, WellingtonCame here today on a recommendation from a friend. We both had the filet steak. Perfectly cooked with little wait and great service. We will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu. Plenty of parking and a good selection of wine. Thank you Villa Verde. X

Brazier Coffee Roasters
10-11 Tonedale Mill Business Park, WellingtonA great find! A lovely coffee shop tucked away in the old Mill building in Tonedale, Wellington. A serious coffee game as well as they have their own roastery that supplies coffee to local cafes.
The coffee was spot on, I had a slice of date and apple pie that was delicious. There were a lot of other cakes and pastries on offer as well as a more comprehensive brunch menu.
It was busy so there was a nice atmosphere when I went but there are plenty of tables and outside seating as well.
Well worth a visit.

Skylark

Having used The Skylark for 10 years or so, it's great to see an establishment coming back.

15 South St, WellingtonGreat cafe, helpful staff, great range of savoury and sweet food. Easy place . Clearly very busy and lots of locals enjoying the fare.They have a licence although I wasn't sampling the alcoholic wares today. Looks like a good range of wine with some beers also.Good range of cakes although again not sampled today.Had some vegetarian options which my friend ordered and enjoyed.I've been here a few times and this cafe is probably one of the best options for lunch options and good value.Coffee was good although not outstandingly flavoursome.

Queens Hotel, Bridge Rd, Wellington, TelfordWent there an hour before closing, owners saw i was travelling and took me to a local service station to leave my car on charge whilst we eat, and then dropped us back to our car once we had eaten! Amazing food, amazing service! 10/10 to the lads

It has a great British 'village pub' ambience, supported by locals and those from further afield, alike. It is spacious with a generous outside (covered) seating area. Interestingly, seating outside during colder months can be made more comfortable by using the slot meter to provide your own table's personal heating supply!\nWe noted there was a good range of traditionally cooked meals on offer.\nThe Vintage is well worth a visit!

Royal Balti
1 Charlton St, Wellington, TelfordI have been eating at the Royal Balti for YEARS, their service and food is brilliant 99% of the time, if there is a mistake, they rectify it swiftly and you have to commend that.
I have travelled a lot and had many many curries, however, somehow Royal Balti make THE best curries I have ever eaten, I have converted many people of Telford to eat here and they swear by them too, all of their curries are delicious and if you like it spicy, they can give you a real kicker!
Staff and service here is always fantastic and easy to deal with, thank you!

2 North St, WellingtonI’ve been a regular at Wellington Kebab for over 10 years now, and despite not being local, it’s always worth the trip. Ahmet and the team are absolute legends – friendly, welcoming, and consistently serving up the best kebabs I’ve ever had.
The chicken kebab and chips with salad is my go-to, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re anywhere near Wellington, do yourself a favour and stop by – hands down the best kebabs in the South West.

A friend treated me, we phoned and ordered a takeaway to collect on a Friday evening, it was ready exactly on time - very friendly service when I arrived. All the food was hot and really tasty, we had a nice mix of curries, rices, nans, sides and poppadums as there were kids in the equation too. Very good value around £45, good sized portions with some left over for us to enjoy tomorrow. Would highly recommend.

33 High St, WellingtonI was passing Wellington on the m5 and fancied taking a Chinese meal home, I drove into the town and the takeaway was the first one I came across, went in greeted by a friendly young lady who took my order, within 10 minutes my order was ready, drove home and served it up, all well presented no grease or oil and tasted absolutely beautiful, I would highly recommend.

The coffee is fantastic ☕️ the pastries are morish ? and I am always welcomed with a kind smile and a friendly natter ? 8 South St, WellingtonLeaving review to issue my concerns about missing driver.I had to check in on mr scrumptious about my 2 hour late chicken kebab only to hear a 2 word response “DRIVER LOST” repeated over and over.It left me with many questions. Have they found the driver? Can I leave the road waiting for the food? Should i call off the search party? Do they maybe need a new driver? - I cant drive but im very good at getting lost.Please console these queries and If mr scrumptious does end up reading this with his considerably broken english - Please do not stress or lose any sleep over my chicken kebab I have nutella and a tortilla wrap at home.Kind regards

Prices are good for what it is. Soft drinks are upwards of average. I go by myself, these days.
Not made to feel odd. Talk with me as I've seen them talk to other groups +1.
I like the way they interact with young children. Treat them as little adults, but with a bit of fun thrown in. Seemto watch parents reaction to what they say to the children. Very sensitive waiters.
