Broad St, Wrington, BristolI cannot express how great this business is. I do not live locally but I contacted the cafe through messenger and asked for a special request to deliver a ploughman's and cakes to relatives who live in the village as a big thank you gift. Mother Hen's owner went so out of her way and the recipients have said how lovely the food and cakes were. I cannot recommend highly enough!! Thank you so very much! ☺️

The Golden Lion
Broad St, Wrington, BristolNice pint and great choice, rode my bike down and lovely stop off. Food wagon (Let's Melt) was on site that day but not all the time which is a shame because the pulled pork toasties and home made scotcheggs were amazing! Look out for and visit on their next trip. Owner said they are there Sunday afternoons!

The Plough
High St, Wrington, BristolSo many pubs are gastropubs these days, this is different. A pub serving restaurant quality food. We dined on Wednesday where their supper club menu gives you two courses for £20 or three courses for £25 plus £10 off a bottle of wine. The food was amazing our favourite being the crispy duck and watermelon salad. The ambience is great with both a mix of casual and formal diners as well as locals enjoying a pint from the well aportioned bar. Having dined here a few years ago when the food was also great it's good to see they haven't sat on their laurels.. Well worth the 20 minute drive from Weston.

The Maple
Cleeve, BristolRelaxed atmosphere, not overly busy for Friday in bank holiday, service was good though very relaxed. Food to a good standard and like most places quantity was sufficient - though a few more chips would not have gone a miss..?
