Way too long since we had been to the Cat Head, but found today that it was as warm and welcoming as ever, especially with the log fire. The excellent menu was further supplemented by inventive specials, with the three of us in our party all choosing something different. The quality of our meals was superb, unusually good, great vale for money, and the service truly first class. What a wonderful place this is.

My partner and I had a fantastic lunch at the Cat's Head Inn yesterday with our family. The food was beyond reproach; couldn't get enough of the glaze on the Tomahawk Pork Loin.The landlord runs every aspect of the front of house solo but it's so seamless and friendly you'd assume there was a team of him working.Overall exactly what you'd hope for in a local gem.
