Great place for breakfast just a short distance from the A1. Forget those motorway service stations, get a proper brekkie with lots of choice (gluten free and vegan menus available) in a pleasant, clean environment.Parking: A few spaces outside with a 1 hour limit, a few side roads nearby.
Travelled down from Durham to visit the beautiful Romanesque church of Saint Helena at Austerfield. Having been turned away from the Mayflower "eatery" for no apparent reason (lot's of empty tables, but none for us ? ) we found Feast a mile down the road. Great food, helpful and friendly staff and a very welcoming and cool atmosphere. I'd heartily recommend supporting small independent venues like Feast over some dated graveyard where they microwave the food.

Lovely menu including a wide variety of tempting vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free items. Good coffee and appetising cakes. Staff were friendly and efficient. The place is comfortable and has outside seating. When busy, the restaurant is quite noisy, and could do with some sound-absorbing panels. Be warned, though, there is no wheelchair accessible toilet.
