We booked online, but the system messed up our booking, but because of our confirmation, they managed to sort out a table. The lady with short blonde hair was more than apologetic and sorted us a table out.. food was outstanding. The only downfall was that the red cabbage had way too many peppercorns in and made it overwhelming. Staff lovely friendly, cosy little pub. But if you definitely keep your online confirmation to hand.
Wow first time coming to this beautiful hidden jem of a pub.An amazing water side garden with play area and lots of seating. Well stocked outdoor bar and a comfortable outdoor patio bar.Food is amazing with the choice of wood fired pizzas or restaurant food. On the side is an amazing ice cream parlour that you must visit.It’s hard to find a better place to visit.Added bonus is hawkstone larger on tap ?

We found this place by basically stabbing the map for our usual Sunday drive out for dinner.What an absolute gem of a place.The food, especially the vegetables and Yorkshire, was as good as we've ever had.Maybe slightly pricier than other places, but what's a couple of pounds on top of a delicious meal.Excellent ales too.I can imagine how nice it would be come summer in the rear beer garden as well.Definitely one we will return to very shortly.
