We were walking past and decided to get something to drink from here to walk around with. The place wasn't overly busy with people but the service wasn't over the fastest. I had the chocolate frappe which was nice and would have it again. The staff seemed friendly enough and the place seemed relatively clean.
You might feel that you shouldn’t be going into this place because of its grand Baronial entrance unless you have some money to burn but fear not you can indeed get a takeout if you feel you are not dressed for the part, you may just want to sit in the peace gardens on a sunny day Drinking your delicious Costa coffee

I love this Costa Coffee Shop. Well situated for the Peace Gardens, Winter Gardens, Millenium Galleries, and Theatres. I'm a regular customer and enjoy the coffee and the good selection of scrummy cakes and snacks. But what makes this is the hardworking team of friendly Baristas.
