Great, reasonably priced B&B with a lovely pub downstairs. The rooms are clean and comfortable and nothing is too much hassle for the staff here. This is the perfect base for anybody doing a training course at Lavender International, 5 minutes down the road in Penistone.
Beautiful traditional pub serving traditional food open fire comfortable seating area good selection of alcohol beautiful place to visit and have a drink would most definitely recommend the Blacksmiths Arms

Stayed for one night in a perfectly good single bedroom with ensuite. The greeting on arrival is what let the venue down for me. "Here's your room, this is some basic information, now I'm off back to the bar". If they'd been more welcoming I would've drank and eaten there too spending money with them, money that I took elsewhere to have a hospitable experience. Shame.
