Had lunch there today lovely old country pub great food the only thing was the atmosphere it was deadly quiet would have loved a bit of background music and the fires were not lit which would have been lovely even a few candles in the fireplace would have made it

Just wanted to say how nice the staff are at this pub. A few of us did a litter pick this morning and I asked if we could use the pub car park as a base. Not only did they say yes but they offered us a coffee on the house to warm up after the pick .. such a kind gesture which is worthy of 5 stars. I’ve stopped there occasionally for lunch when cycling in that area - it’s always been enjoyable, And the view from the outside tables is beautiful
