Had a phone call 24 hours before my booking from felicity to see if she could do anything for us like booking into the restaurant on site and was were we staying for a special occasion. We said we had booked into a restaurant for our company Xmas meal but would love it she thought she could leave us a surprise. Arrived and found that felicity had left a personal postcode saying that welcome to the area and hope we have a great company meal. And left us also with a few chocolate...read full review

Friendly/helpful staff, as always.Had a good room (new style) this time, which is much better than the existing rooms. Great location, especially for food and drink - Beefeater next door, Morrisons accross the road, McDonalds also within walking distance, a Carter & Miller restaurant, and an excellent Toby carvery no more than half a mile away.

I'll be honest I've not stayed at this hotel but the ladies that were working here today were very lovely and super helpful.I'd gladly come back here based on the custom service alone if ever in the location again.
