Myself and my husband stayed in a nearby airbnb and went for a lovely walk down the canal with our dog on Saturday. We visited The Junction Inn for lunch (about an hours walk away) as this was on the canal that we’d were walking. Despite the dog being absolutely filthy they encouraged us to sit inside and warm up with her for a couple of hours whilst we ate. Called in for Lunch on a Winters Day, Great Log Fire with Views out to the Canal. The welcome and Service my Mom and me recieved was very Friendly.Our Food was excellent, served quickly, very tasty, nice and hot.Overall a very positive experience thank you very much.

A decent pub with good ales and a well prepared, but fairly standard, menu set next to the Norton Junction canal basin. If you have children who like feeding ducks (and swans, if they are brave) then this is a good place to go. The car park is large and the pub is worth visiting. Sitting outside, you can watch the longboat activity and dream of hring a your own longboat from the centre opposite. at weekends the pub is busy and it is worth booking a table in advance.
