Visited here with a party of approximately 16 people. We placed our order in advance but was informed that one main dish was not available. 6 people had to choose an alternative which they did when we arrived. The service was a little slow. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good quality.
Usual Premier Inn standard in a lovely location. Staff at this hotel set bar high. Attentive, polite and nothing is too much trouble. Sadly, on this occasion whilst we enjoying a quiet drink in the bar at around 10.30pm we witnessed some appalling behaviour from 2 very drunken guests checking in. The abuse that staff had to put up with was really quite upsetting, especially when they have hard worked all evening ensuring everybody was well looked after. Stayed one night on a visit to The Roaches and Lud’s Church. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. Parking was reasonable. Staff were really friendly and it seemed really well managed.
