A great find, tucked away in Bridge Street, but well worth searching it out. As soon as we opened the door, a busy but friendly host shouted hello, as he poured the pints to a cheerful crowd. That set the tone for a memorable couple of hours, with every ale & cider we tried being a winner. The staff changed shifts during our stay, but both were engaging and cheerful. Cute little beer garden out the back, the place looks like a royal mail but when you go in there's always loads of smiling people. I love the table with the games, and the bear mats all over the walls is kinda funny to look at when you're drunk lol but I loved it. Their cider tasted of lemon meringues. I don't know how but it was delicious ?
