Went after doing some great pubs came here at the end of the night. Karaoke not my normal cup of tea. Everyone staff and public were so fun. It was great. Woke up with loads of pictures of strangers. What a nice atmosphere. Shame the only do cash but understand why.
Oldest pub in town. Quiet and pleasant. Fair selection of ales and spirits. Karaoke and DJ at weekends. Quiet little pub during the weekday, perfect for a drink and a good book!Most pleasant and friendly bar staff.Certainly one of the better pubs in town.

I really liked this pub. The bar had tons of character, obviously it's an old building and the period features were there in abundance.The young lady behind the bar was very friendly and welcoming.A really charming old pub, if it wasn't 90 miles from home, I would gladly adopt it as my local.
