“stayed overnight in our campervan 7/8/25 and had a lovely time. from the initial phone all I made enquiring to stay the staff were warm, friendly, welcoming and genuinely lovely. the pub itself is absolutely adorable and we spent the evening tucked in a little nook and playing with the multitude of adorable dogs that the locals had brought in. The dogs were a highlight to be honest, super cute - Sausage and Bean you made our night!!! the food was really nice, we had the ploughman's platters, chips, sausage roll and baked camembert between the four of us- all absolutely lovely and the chips were piping hot, fresh and crispy! the garden is lovely with a play area and chickens! lovely views of the countryside. we live a long way away but next time we are up this neck of the woods we will definitely be back! thank you for having us - wish you were my local and you are lots of fun.”

“Wow! Amazing food again from the Spread Eagle. This is the second time we have been in and it won’t be the last. We have eaten both times off the Tapas menu 5 for £25 is such good value for money as the portions are decent. (I ate so fast I forgot to take photos :) ) . The tapas dessert menu is also amazing definitely try the Nutella mini doughnuts and it’s great you can get 3 tapas style desserts and have abit of everything you fancy. Worth a try and can recommend. Also lovely friendly staff.”
