“Great sports bar in Stafford. Extremely clean, great facilities and perfect for watching sports or playing pool or darts. We had the chicken platter which was very good food. They also have two super huge cinema style screens to watch main events. This is definitely worth a visit if you ever watch to see a live sports event on screen with your friends. The only reason it did not recieve 5 stars is that the beers were not the best.”

“We have recently got married at this venue and wow, this stunning place is just the most beautiful venue we have visited. From the moment you walk in, there is a special perfume all around the venue, and walking up the stairs surprises you with a whole floor of privacy, where you can have the ceremony and the wedding breakfast with a capacity from 10 up to 60 people seated I believe. Anyway, we planned the wedding in about 9 months but everything happened as planned. They have an amazing wedding coordinator, called Ellen who went beyond and above to accommodate our needs and requests. Splendid food, very good communication, great range of drinks from the bar at decent prices, and the venue itself is an absolute bargain! For what you pay, you get a lot. We had endless emails, and visits to the venue for my comfort, and make sure my ideas are happening, but the venue has so much to offer, and the staff knows what they are doing. Nowadays, everyone knows that weddings can be expensive, but they can also be perfect and at very good price. I am very satisfied by choosing The Post House as my dream wedding venue. I wouldn’t change anything. Thanks Ellen and the team for all the effort made! ❤️ I would get married here all again.”

“Our host Grace welcomed us with a lovely smile. Grace showed us to our table and suggested our starters which tasted delicious. My steak a ribeye was cooked perfect. Highly recommend this for a great steak.”

“Went for a carvery with family. Service was good especially from the lady on the carvery who let my son try some cauliflower cheese as she heard him say he wasn't sure if he liked it. She also cut a Yorkshire in half for him as they were huge. Food was hot and we all enjoyed it.”

“Visited during the bonfire night with my family and I’ve never seen it so busy before, completely rammed but the staff did so well!! Service was still fast considering, and the staff were so welcoming and helpful even though they were clearly stretched to their limits. They put up with some nasty impatient customers very professionally and one lady behind the bar (heard her referred to as molly? Milly maybe? Sorry - it was loud) was so helpful when I couldn’t decide on what drink to have. Overall lovely event and I will be visiting again soon - huge well done to the staff.”

“Stayed in a disabled room which was, in the whole, pretty good. The only issues I have are the fact that the plugs and USB sockets are located low level underneath a shelf. This makes them very difficult to access, especially if you are disabled. The only other issue is the fact that the disabled spaces are always taken up by worker’s vans or the usual BMW, Audi, Mercedes type cars. Not the fault of the hotel, just the ignorant, lazy drivers.”
