Five of us had a delicious Sunday lunch here today. Good size portions with lamb that fell off the bone, the best gravy, several different accompanying fresh vegetable sides, Yorkshire Puddings that had substance and taste to them rather than being just tasteless inflated things. Best pub in the area by a country mile! Nothing compares! Superb bar staff especially the young lad named Dan, very polite and well mannered. Dan was a great host, will definitely be returning soon!
Advertised as the best zoo in the world, and I for one can well believe it!Nice and big enclosures for the animals, who all appear to be contentAlso the abundance of trees, plants, shrubs and flowers in the grounds are fabulousVery impressed by the fact that you can hire a mobility scooter or wheelchair FREE of charge!
