A family get-together a couple of weeks ago, enjoyed by us all. The Inn itself, the food, the staff, everything was good, I mean super. Rather, unbelievable! It was a marvellous day, the staff made certain of that and we were looked after superbly. I had the pleasure of attending the Dog and Doublet for a family reunion and it was a great experience. The event was organized as a buffet with a per-head payment, and I must say, the portions were more than generous; we were unable to conquer the entire spread. Came here on a Saturday night. The tables in the restaurant were all booked but they fit us in at a bar table. The food was amazing, service was quick enough and everyone was really friendly. The place itself is really nice as well!
