We were staying at the Premier Inn next door and wandered over for what we thought would be an very average meal. But we were blown away by the whole experience at the Shire Horse. From start to finish the service was friendly, helpful and efficient. The drink and food came quickly and nothing was too much trouble for the waiting staff. Visited with friends for a festive meal. The staff were extremely helpful, the food was plentiful and great value for money which was a refreshing change from other Christmas meals I've had elsewhere and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed.

The staff were brilliant. I never travel alone but had to on this occasion for work, which meant dining alone. They found me a quiet corner and looked after me very well. The food was great, as I always expect from a Chef & Brewer. A lovely bar/restaurant and a great location to continue my journey on the M6 the following day. Thank you for making me so welcome!
