Good selection of drinks. Regularly have live bands, usually rock music. Friendly bar staff. Reasonable prices, low for Altrincham. Tables outside. No food but plenty of takeaways across the road.
I visited this place with my husband Nek on Saturday for the first time and we thoroughly enjoyed the gig of the “White tygers” that was organised. Prices were very reasonable too. We really enjoyed the amazing atmosphere and welcoming environment. We will certainly be visiting more often. One thing to consider in the sound check of future groups is to lower slightly the volume, as I felt it was too loud on Saturday, and that would lowering it would make acoustics of the gig...read full review

Good friendly traditional pub. Usally has good selection of bottled beers and draft beers are also good. A local pub which has its regulars, all freinly and welcoming. Beer is generally good and have good selection to choose from. Check the specials shown on a board giving descriptions of each ones on offer. Bands play on a Friday and Saturday night generally rock music some are very good.Pub has a good juke box 2 dart boards and pool table.
