Visited here today with my parents for Mother’s Day and to celebrate my dads 83rd birthday on Wednesday. All the tables were busy, but it was lovely that the landlord still took time to chat and show and interest in my dad given he was born in the pub in 1940, when it was owned by his aunt and uncle at that time. Great beer always a warm welcome. Pork pies are a must and they put on some great entertainment during the week. Open mic Tuesday, bingo on a Thursday and good local bands on at the weekend

Visited here with friends and had a fabulous night. Atmosphere was fabulous, staff were both friendly and attentive and the live music was fantastic. Would definitely go there again.
