There is much to recommend the familiar, and any cafe nero, wherever I go, has the comfort of familiarity as well as a great cup of coffee. The Ipswich branch is no exception. Spacious comfy surroundings, friendly baristas, great flat white. Can’t fault it.
You've probably been to a Caffe Nero before - you know what to expect. What makes (or doesn't) a coffee chain is the staff and the state of the cafe. The staff in this one are friendly and quick without rushing you. The building feels s bit tired and in need of a bit of attention. But for somewhere to take a break or meet up with friends before or after hitting the shops it's great.

Always love Cafe Nero (though their chocolate fudge cake gets sold out quite often ), staff are friendly, only downside is if you choose to sit in, the tables are often not cleaned/cleared so you may have to clean a table to get a seat.
