This is a lovely pub the unlimited breakfast was delicious. I am a coeliac and when I mentioned this to staff they were very good and provided me with gluten free bread and sausages. I would defiantly recommend going again to others!!
We have been many times, the food is very good value. We do find the carvery can be a let down on some items. The main menu and desserts we always find consistently good. Mary served us this evening, she made our visit. Thank you Mary.

Had a mixed grill was disappointed, lack of chips, size of steak didn't fill me up. The photo I have attached is the mixed grill from the Mermaid in Ipswich. Now that's a mixed grill which I thoroughly recommend it's a must have and will definitely fill you up. The Chestnut could take a leaf out of the Mermaids book.
