Enjoyed my visit to the Halberd Inn to watch Liverpool FC beat Crystal Palace. I had a nice burger meal although the tomato sauce that I requested never arrived, hence four stars instead of five for service; the meal was washed down with a lovely pint of Guinness both at reasonable prices. On this winter's day it was noted that the pub temperature was perfect.Vegetarian options: Like most places vegetarian options are very limited and could be given more attention.

I love architecture and this place is an amazing building...Martin was a fantastic host... This place has a large function room and a huge outdoor covered seating area.Very popular with the locals... A great choice of background music created a great vibe and it was a pleasure to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.Multiple screens showing sports... Multi level seating a roaring live fire and a dart board completes the experience.A must if your in the area ?
