Went with a party of 10 as it was my 88th birthday, The choice and quality of the food was fantastic, the staff were brilliant and friendly, and the everyone in our group had a wonderful time. Would strongly recommend the Shannon to all.
Lovely country pub with a varied lunch menu. Alex was seating, taking orders and serving drinks and food. The pub was at least half full on a Wednesday lunchtime so he had his hands full but you wouldn't have known it. He was attentive, helpful and knowledgeable about the details of all the dishes when we asked questions. Always love coming to this village pub! Gorgeous decor. Best burgers ever! Food is out of this world. We can never finish our mains as the portions as so big and fantastic value for money. This suits families, couples, large groups, everyone is catered for. Great place to have a drink in the summer too. Dog friendly also!
