On a lovely evening we were able to sit outside which was most enjoyable. The only thing that spoiled it was that people who came outside to smoke were too close to the dining tables. It would be better that the table with the ashtray was farther away. Other than that, everything was very good.
Our party of six all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Staff were helpful, efficient and friendly. Food was beautifully presented, tasted great. My personal favourite was cider battered fish and hand cut chips with peas and tartar sauce. All fresh and delicious.

Spent a Friday evening here with friends. Service was great, and we had a good evening meal. Rooms were comfortable and clean if a little cosy (but for a pub with rooms they were what we’d expect), and breakfast was spot on. I left a bottle of perfume behind and they very kindly sent it on to me.
