Went there for lunch today with a friend. We decided to try the 2 for £20 deal, which was a main & pudding. My friend had turkey schnitzel which blue cheese, salad & chips, I chose king prawn salad & garlic bread, we both followed with Eaton mess. Excellent value for money, attentive service & spotlessly clean.I would definitely go again, in fact we have already booked.
A nice family run pub with great staff, Called in after finding out pub is under new management, Had a Sunday roast as was good although not the cheapest at £13 for a roast with another extra £3 for sirloin cut of beef, Very nice staff though as a very clean pub too, Overall was good..

Great pub atmosphere, haven't visited the Ship in a very long time (early 2000's) and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.Looking forward to revisiting in the future to try the food in the restaurant.
