First visit and won’t be our last. called in for lunch, I had haddock and chips wife had the pie large portions and food was very good The staff were excellent and had time for a chat made us feel very welcome.
What a lovely and friendly pub. Was quiet when I visited with family but the staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was amazing especially the Homemade Scampi. The desserts were just as good. We all had the cheesecakes. Good prices and some lovely crafts to buy as well. Definitely

The White Horse is very friendly, and very welcoming to dogs. The food was great. Cod and chips was stunning, the portions were large. The homemade scampi was so good. The local butchers sausages were meaty and flavour filled. Biscuits and water were available for our dog. And nuggets were served for our dog.And the service in the attached village shop was brilliant.This is a definitely a place to return to.
