We were staying at the campsite nearby to popped here for a bite to eat. Young girl greeted and served us drinks and was very pleasant and attentive. Food was amazing and we would highly recommend going here. Portion sizes were quite big so only could manage a main. Definitely worth a visit
So good we came back again and again. Hunting for a place to eat on our first evening of a long weekend trip we came across The Duck. Welcomed, made comfortable and hosted to a delicious evening meal. As the menu was so good we came back the next evening to see what we had missed and we’re not disappointed. So much so we became a fixture and returned again for our final night. Unusual for us as we tend to like to explore. A real gem.

The people of Campsea Ash are lucky to have a local pub like The Duck! Excellent place for Sunday lunch. Roast Beef served rare, with a great selection of vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. Mixed meat roast and nut roast available. Traditional desserts, including brioche bread and butter pudding, rice pudding, and crumble. Good espresso! Dog friendly as well.
