We were a party of four and our friends had booked a table for dinner. When they booked the member of staff had the courtesy and professionalism to advise that there would be a large party of diners and that it would be best if we could dine early evening rather than a 7.30pm slot. The table was booked for 6.45pm. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table. The menu is on a large chalkboard in the bar. Great food set in such a wonderful backdrop. The bar looks a great place to have a pint. But we had Sunday lunch there and the food was delicious. The service was top notch too. Parking at the back

Enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch whilst having a break in the local area.We sat outside with our dog, and enjoyed excellent service with a great view over the village green.The food and drinks were excellent, the staff were also very attentive and friendly.Highly recommended
