Popped in to this pub on the way home from visiting family in Bury St Edmunds. They were only doing Roast dinners, as this was the first day they had done food, I belive. I had the roast turkey and my husband had the roast beef. The turkey was very moist and not at all dry, which is a danger when ordering this meat out... Came to The Maldon Grey for lunch with family, after seeing it has Changed hands. We were very pleasantly surprised with how much cleaner the place is and the much more pleasant atmosphere. The bar staff were very friendly and approachable, having a laugh with us over my lack of apple pay knowledge. We ordered 4 roast turkeys, 2 adults and 2 children's. All were very delicious. Always have my family and friends down for food, drink and events and never once had a complaint...atmosphere is always so friendly and enjoyable, always get quick service and the staff are always smiling, and the food is always amazing standard, even when im not the one cooking...love the Maldon and would recommend it to everyone
