Visited in August after visiting the area for a number of years and never seeing this place open, so this year we had to go in when we noticed it open. So glad we did, Maxine and Carl were so welcoming, service was spot on, the place was absolutely spotlessly clean, the locals really friendly and atmosphere was great. Lovely to see this place open again. Drive past many times in the past but seemed hit and miss when it was open. Glad to see new owners finally and enjoy a pint. Had breakfast which was fantastic, great banter and very friendly and welcoming ?

Came here for a drink and was made to feel very welcome, so much so, we returned in the morning for a fabulous breakfast. Our dog was made a fuss of which is always a big plus point for me. See you again very soon as want to try that carvery!
