Visited with family & our well behaved dogs. Clean environment, clean tables, Lovely food, food arrived hot & well presented, attentive & welcoming staff, a very pleasant experience. We are definitely fans of this lovely pub/restaurant & will be visiting again soon.
A last minute decision to eat out and remembered a Facebook notification advising of a new menu at The Castle. Always a friendly welcome and tonight was no exception. Hubby had the pulled pork scotch egg- looked amazing - lovely runny egg inside and Mr said it was very tasty too. I had the chicken and trufffle croquettes- yum! Tasty tender chicken inside. We had never been before and left it late to book for Sunday lunch… this pub came up on Opentable and we decided to check it out with friends. The chicken roast was really good, full of flavour and good quality food. The service was good and we didn’t have to wait too long at all. The pub seemed quiet empty which was surprising considering how good the roast was. We will defiantly be back
