Great pub and garden. There was no food available unless you booked. There is usually pizza in the garden but sadly he was on holiday. Nice staff and a good atmosphere. Cricket on the village green. There’s a stream in the garden and a bridge where children can paddle too.
Popped in to The Barley Mow yesterday after a morning walk, for a bit of Sunday lunch. To be honest, all three of us fancied the Sunday roast, so that's what we all had. Two chicken dinners and one beef. All portions were the perfect size to leave us full when we left. The beef looked perfectly cooked and our chicken was a really good portion. Popped in on Friday late afternoon for a drink as we were in the area. Friendly, welcoming staff for us and our young pup. A great British pub that hasn't changed for the worse. The Harveys Best was lovely.
