“What a fabulous evening!First great thing was Kronenbourg on draft - you don't get it many places now so I was delighted!We were a group of 17 and everyone enjoyed their food. It was cooked very well and was very flavoursome.And the service was superb, everyone was friendly, helpful and very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.I would happily make a return visit as I enjoyed it so much.Thanks to everyone involved.”

“This is pretty much the perfect traditional pub. The food was amazing and plentiful. Extremely well priced. Unfortunately my photography skills are negligible and do not do justice the perfect roast. The fruit in the Eton mess gave me a Proustian rush back to childhood where strawberries tasted of strawberries! The staff were so friendly and welcoming to a newbie. The locals were also funny and friendly. Very inclusive and a lovely way to spend the afternoon. I wish I lived near here so I could become a local!”

“I’m adding this positive review to follow on from my last one. Although this review says we visited in September 23, we have been back many times since my last review and I wanted to put the record straight. Lovely Roast dinners since that blip (which there was a reason for, see the reply from the B&W) and we have also enjoyed a couple of brunches there too. We will be back soon!”
