10 Station Rd W, OxtedThere should be an option for 6 stars or more when you come across a venue that just does things significantly better than most, and Cattle & Cocktail most certainly fall in to that category.
Attentiveness is one thing, but consideration is another.
Seated next to the glass window, Junior and his team made an effort to provide an electric heater considering the cold emanating from the glass.
Without prompting we were offered an interior table once the dining room quietened.
All of this was done with a level of cool professionalism not often seen, or experienced of late.

Food so good, pictures were an afterthought.
Specific drinks requests delivered perfectly.
We will definitely be back and look forward to making Cattle & Cocktail our local.

105-107 Station Rd E, OxtedWe came for cocktails and small plates, and everything was super tasty and generous. The drinks were great too. The staff were all really friendly and attentive, but the only thing that could be improved is communication between them. We were asked by three different people if we wanted water, three more if we were ready to order, and then had check-backs from two others - it just felt a bit uncoordinated. When I’m in a restaurant, I don’t want to be noticing what’s going on behind the scenes, but we all noticed no one was sure who was doing what. Everyone was lovely though, and with a bit more teamwork it would’ve been a really smooth experience.

68 High St, Old Oxted, OxtedAnother fantastic lunch today at The Old Bell, made all the better for the amazing staff Henry and Claudia who are always so friendly and accommodating and take time to have a chat even when extremely busy. One of my favourite 'go to' places for a meal as the quality of food is always so good.

Tanhouse Rd, OxtedI can remember when this was renovated some years ago and the standards were set high then to present a welcoming atmosphere with open fires and vintage feel to the place. These standards are still up there years on. The team are most helpful. Plenty of parking for the pub requirements - outdoor dining available. Dog friendly for walkers. We have parked and gone into the Haycutter - booked a reservation - done a walk and returned to our reservation for drinks and food. Great menu - had most on the menu. Our family members usually get together here on regular occasions. Always a good atmosphere here. Friendly/Cosy all year round. Recommended.

82-84 Station Rd E, OxtedCook is great, and a fail safe option. The Oxted branch has lovely staff and we’ve found the whole team really helpful. Today though Lisa went above and beyond, we messed up our timings slightly and wouldn’t have made it to the store in time, so called and asked if we could pop in a few minutes after they closed to pick up their stunning butter chicken dish and some side dishes. She put it all to the side and stayed open just so we could purchase it, how wonderfully kind and lovely! Thanks so much Lisa:)

The food is excellent and the staff are wonderfully welcoming – I’d highly recommend stopping by.
I had the chicken and bacon sandwich, which was warm, fresh, and perfectly made. The chef also served a special croissant bread-and-butter pudding – which was creative and just as delicious as it sounds.

139 Station Rd E, OxtedI always have a great experience in the Oxted branch of Caffè Nero. The staff are helpful with things like table service or moving chairs to accommodate my wheelchair/poor mobility. I frequent Nero with my family & when meeting friends (including friends with wheelchairs) - they really cater to everyone. The atmosphere is always friendly & although it is popular & does get busy, it’s never too loud for a conversation. It’s a really sociable coffee shop & their variety of foods & drinks are lovely. I highly recommend their pork & pancetta sausage roll - it’s dreamy!

The Bull Inn Limpsfield
High St, Limpsfield, OxtedA really lovey Sunday lunch for us both - I had the sea bass which was cooked to perfection - succulent with a deep and flavourful butter sauce, crushed potatoes and spring onions. My wife had the pork and beef roast which was so generous - the meat was also absolutely excellently cooked with all the trimmings a deep rich gravy. Service was excellent - very attentive quick and professional. Will definitely be back!

The Barley Mow
Tandridge Ln, Tandridge, OxtedI’d like to say a huge thank you to the team at the barley mow. I held a baby shower there at the weekend and the team went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for them, the staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. I had so many comments from guests about how beautiful the venue was and how great the food tasted. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to host an event or as somewhere to go for delicious food.

46 Station Rd E, OxtedMaybe the best sushi I've ever had. My boyfriend and I have visited so many times now I can't keep track. The service is always perfect. The food is absolutely delicious, every dish is made to a perfect standard. Some dishes I recommend are the California maki roll and the spicy tuna maki roll, the shishito peppers are a perfect starter bursting with flavour however the yam korokke is our absolute favourite. The restaurant is cosy with dim lighting. The cocktails are also delicious!

Holland Rd, OxtedWe had a table of 7 with our family all the way from Venezuela. We sat by the lovely warm fire and had a fantastic Sunday roast. The service was friendly, and we felt like at home.
The owner shook our hands as we left and wished a safe onward journey.
