105-107 Station Rd E, OxtedI had a Christmas meal at Hammonds with my friends. On booking, we let them know that one of our party was vegan, which they said they could cater for. They really couldn’t have been more helpful. They called a few days before to talk me through options and I had a delicious vegan three course meal. They even specially made me a dessert. Thank you Hammonds!

10 Station Rd W, OxtedMe and my partner were recommended Cattle & Cocktails by a family friend. I can honestly say I’ve never had such a pleasant experience when going out for a meal. It was line and my partners 7 year anniversary - and were welcomed with a glass of bubbly to celebrate the occasion. We were here on a Wednesday so we could take advantage of the £20pp deal they had on, adding a bottle of wine to the meal. The steak frittes were fantastic, and the steak was cooked to perfection. One of the better meals I’ve had in a long time, and I won’t hesitate to come back or recommend to other friends and family.

Friendly staff and good service. We were both delighted with our breakfast choices. Good selection on the menu. Cafe atmosphere is Lekker! Will most definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

Tanhouse Rd, OxtedI can remember when this was renovated some years ago and the standards were set high then to present a welcoming atmosphere with open fires and vintage feel to the place. These standards are still up there years on. The team are most helpful. Plenty of parking for the pub requirements - outdoor dining available. Dog friendly for walkers. We have parked and gone into the Haycutter - booked a reservation - done a walk and returned to our reservation for drinks and food. Great menu - had most on the menu. Our family members usually get together here on regular occasions. Always a good atmosphere here. Friendly/Cosy all year round. Recommended.

Decided to go here for lunch today. 4/1/25
At 2pm with my wife.
I was really impressed with the inside of the pub. It was very traditional and lovely clean and warm inside.
Service was absolutely fantastic the lady that served us was so friendly and attentive.
Food was lovely however I had a mixed grill and asked for my steak to be cooked rare it came well done. The Manager offered me another steak or a pudding but I wasn’t too fussed. It was just to mention rather to cause a fuss. I didn’t eat it however.
Plenty of parking however you must enter your registration upon arrival.
You can also use Tesco club cards points here on food which is a good bonus to come here.
Will definitely visit again. 4 stars on food due to my steak not cooked to my liking and choice.

Hats of to the chef and the lovely attentive staff. The chicken cesar salad is my favourite and my husband loves the steak and ale pie for a truly hearty lunch. The cakes available and the breakfast menu are also excellent. Amazing omlette, with choice of fillings. You won't be disappointed!

The service was friendly but could have been a bit more attentive. The staff seemed understaffed for the crowd, leading to slightly longer wait times, both for ordering and receiving food. However, they were accommodating and made sure our food was hot and fresh when it arrived.

82-84 Station Rd E, OxtedCook is great, and a fail safe option. The Oxted branch has lovely staff and we’ve found the whole team really helpful. Today though Lisa went above and beyond, we messed up our timings slightly and wouldn’t have made it to the store in time, so called and asked if we could pop in a few minutes after they closed to pick up their stunning butter chicken dish and some side dishes. She put it all to the side and stayed open just so we could purchase it, how wonderfully kind and lovely! Thanks so much Lisa:)

Tandridge Ln, Tandridge, OxtedI’d like to say a huge thank you to the team at the barley mow. I held a baby shower there at the weekend and the team went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for them, the staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. I had so many comments from guests about how beautiful the venue was and how great the food tasted. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to host an event or as somewhere to go for delicious food.

62 Station Rd E, OxtedChloe is an asset to your Costa team. My partner and I were in Oxted for business and were given a parking ticket outside Costa. Chloe and the team welcomed us in and to help brighten our day, they gave us the BOGOF offer on a drink but complimentary. 94 Station Rd E, OxtedNeeded a good old fashioned Chinese takeaway to feed teenagers. Friendly efficient staff and freshly cooked food in generous portion sizes. Piping hot and tasty, went down well. Our usual Chinese is currently closed but we would definitely use this one again. Everyone enjoyed their food.

I recently visited Pizza Express Oxted and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious, as always - the Pollo ad Astra was cooked to perfection. But what truly elevated my experience was our waitress, Izzy.
Izzy was friendly, attentive, and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She offered great recommendations and checked on us regularly without being intrusive. Her positive attitude and genuine smile added a special touch to our meal.
Overall, I highly recommend Pizza Express. The food is consistently good, but the exceptional service from Izzy made our visit truly memorable. If you're looking for a great dining experience, ask for Izzy - you won't be disappointed!

46 Station Rd E, OxtedElegant and stylish setting, we had a comfortable and well positioned table with plenty of space. Beautiful attention to detail and a very warm welcome from the team. Smiling and charming service. Food was absolutely delicious: soft shell crab, sushi, grilled meats all a highlight. I loved the wide choice of sake by the glass: get stuck in an experiment. I had 3 and they were all tasty and matched with the food perfectly. Good coffee and my husband loved his wee ice cream cone to finish. Excellent: I only wish this was in our neighbourhood. Lucky Oxted.

111-113 Station Rd E, OxtedWe had a fantastic experience at Gurkha Kitchen! We reserved a private dining area for our Christmas party with around 30 colleagues , and it was absolutely perfect. The space provided us with privacy, and we loved being able to play our own music. The atmosphere was delightful.
The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
