Came here for lunch to see family on Tuesday 2nd January, and whilst the rump steak, profiteroles and red wine were all warming and delicious, plus incredibly good value I might add, the highlight of the meal was being looked after so thoughtfully, attentively and wonderfully by the lovely Jackie. We've just had a really lovely experience at The Mill House. It was my birthday family meal and there were 8 of us (6 adults and 2 children). The food was delicious but I really wanted to give a shout out to Sydonnie our waitress. She was AMAZING!!! So attentive, went over and above to ensure we all were happy with our menu choices, was extremely attentive and was great with the kids. She was so happy and welcoming. So refreshing to be greeted by real customer service. Jackie served our table. Not only was she professional, but good hearted with a personality built over years of experience. Our lunch was nice, my dessert, luckily for me was a left over from the Christmas menu, chocolate orange sundae. Omg. Fabulous, should be on the menu all the time.
