Everythings great.. except the food. What a shame. The amount of people that have warned me about it, I've just had my 2nd meal here and honestly it's absolutely beyond average. Whoever wrote the menu was obviously not the chef. Stick to the bar.
Friendly neighbourhood pub, nice beers including some of their own brews, at fair prices. Old style interior but I like that. Lots of students, young people and alternative types. Dog friendly. They also serve food.

I ca only comment on the food I had, it was a Burns night supper of Haggis, needs and tattie. Well presented and tasty enough, but not very much and not very hot.I've heard the food is generally very good but I have to go with what I experienced.There was a quiz on which was very popular and the bar was busy. Atmosphere was great and the beer selection is extensive.
