This place is what I would say is a hidden gem of Newcastle (even though, its not that hidden being on the front street of Chilingham road) For the past 8 years, since moving to the area, I've been at least once a week for my sausage and egg on garlic bun (literally perfection in sandwich form) I can't recommend this place enough. The type of small business that makes you proud to be northern. Tremendous food for spectacularly reasonable prices, from two of the friendliest hosts in the city - these guys really go the extra mile to make sure your happy. I dont know how I've only just discovered this place but I'm glad I did. Lady behind the counter was a absolute gem, happy as Larry and boy can she make a sandwich ?? as for the sandwich goes it was top drawer, I got the chicken romana and it was delightful will 100000% be back.
