First time on an evening visiting, absolutely will not be the last. Very good value for money and lovely service and atmosphere. Would highly recommend a visit to try yourself. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Oasis

Definitely the best place to eat at the Galleries with a very friendly atmosphere.\nHad a late breakfast today and it arrived promptly and was cooked to perfection, the kitchen staff obviously have pride in what they send out to their customers.\nNever had a disappointing meal here food and service is always consistent and very reasonably priced.\nMandy our server was extremely friendly and happy to help nothing was too much trouble.This place is a little gem, making everyone feel welcome even non pub goers like ourselves and also very accommodating for families. We’ll definitely be back.

Washington Arms

Lovely little pub with a great atmosphere, young blonde girl on the bar was very polite and chatty nothing was too much trouble, always said please and thank you which is a rarity these days. She was extremely pleasant and made us feel very welcome . We didn’t have food on this occasion but what we saw looked nice

The Biddick Inn

100% recommend, the food and cocktails are delicious. Lots of choice on the menu. Good atmosphere and lovely friendly staff, our server Aaron was excellent. The lounge section had a singer on and was cosy and relaxing. Will definitely be coming back :)

Like this location better than the one closer to home due to better service. Had what started as a bad experience tonight, but ended well. Food ordered (taster dishes of popping chicken and loaded roasties) but did not arrive over half an hour later. Both the lady who served me and the duty manager couldn't apologise enough, and did offer to check where my food was. My partner had already had his carvery and an additional plate of veg to stall time a bit, even though he said it wasn'tthe greatest Sunday dinner he'd had, so I asked for a refund for my meal as i had gone beyond hungry. This was given, no questions asked, and with more apologies.\nSo, a not so great eating experience, but a good customer service experience.

Ristorante Fiume

Toni , One of the staff The Lady that made our nice such a success , She looked after us all for a special 60 th birthday , so Attentive on the bar and making sure everything was in order putting Buffet food out Great kitchen staff also very Accommodating when we needed one dish to be Celiac for one of our guests . We would highly recommend this venue . Xxx

Curry Hut

Second take away and again absolutely beautiful. I’m sorry I don’t have pictures but the reason is both times it’s been delivered the aromas are out of this world. The flavours are amazing we’ve chosen two different dishes and delicious is an understatement. We love a good garlic keema Nan and we are more than impressed. Popadoms not the best this time but previously again were amazing. A definite fabulous find and recommend keep your chef.

Concord Tandoori Restaurant Ltd

Excellent food from a very skilled chef and a really descriptive menu. The best thing however, were the friendly staff especially a really knowledgeable member of staff who helped us with our menu choices, resulting in my choosing something I wouldn't have picked otherwise and which I really enjoyed!

This food is absolutely bloody amazing and I'm talling you now get the restaurant a five stars even gave me a free can of pop this restaurant is a blessing thank you so much the person who delivered it was lovely and was great to talk to you once again give this restaurant a five stars ??????

Carter & Fitch

Some of the best food I've ever had whilst staying in a hotel.
Ordered a shawarma and in most cases it usually it comes pre-wrapped, in this case it didn't and I'm so glad it didn't, what an array of different flavours to attack with a knife and fork. Dessert was a puddle cake with gingerbread and I can't fault any of it, a perfect way to finish off the meal!
The Guinness is pulled to perfection in my eyes, I'm not a Guinness connoisseur by any means but it's nice to get a good creamy head on a clean glass of Guinness, absolutely no complaints from me.
Also big shout out to Patrick, give the guy a raise, he's got charisma spewing out of every pore, the chap knows how to wait on tables and if I could have given him a tip I absolutely would have but they don't take tips via card machine and I had no cash.

Classic Pizza

Just had a lovely kebab from classic, salad was fresh, lots of kebab meat, chips have now been replaced with thinner crispier chips much nicer than before and the onion rings were crispy too and arrived piping hot !

The staff here are wonderful. They are helpful and friendly.I need to have gluten free food and always manage to get something tasty to eat hereDietary restrictions: Provide gluten free bread

Star Tandoori

5 Stars - if you want it hot, mild, extra chilli just ask and they always oblige. Tandoori chicken and bhana prawn (madras hot) was spot on. Friendly and polite service. Recommended. Fenwick

Local branch of well known bakery chain in Gateshead very busy most of day as its on main Durham Rd and staff friendly but Queues build up quickly and need at least one more

The Havelock

Food was banging!!!
Vegan options were fantastic so nice.
Burgers were spot on, the relish was lovely. Will definitely be back. It's hard to find a place that does fabulous vegan food.

Not gonna low mark them for missing my Mushrooms on my Large Breakfast it’s a small Discrepancy I can handle as the food was absolutely lovely and tasted like a home cooked breakfast … thanks Guys don’t forget my mushrooms next time :), delivery time was earlier then time said on Just Eat, food was lovely and hot also and driver was polite
