It was my first time visiting this place, and it was incredibly busy and crowded. I wanted to share my experience because I think it might be helpful, especially for the person who served us. He was such a lovely man—his name is Danny (I found out from another staff member). I’m not sure if he was the manager, but he was dressed very professionally and carried himself in that way.

Although there was quite a long delay with our food, Danny came over and politely explained the situation in the kitchen. To make up for it, he kindly offered my husband a complimentary pint, which we really appreciated. We were seated at table 20, and nearby there was a lady with a large group at table 11. She was unfairly blaming him for the delay and being quite rude to him, even after he had explained what was happening. I’m pretty sure she might have put some bad reviews on him as she was telling to the man who was sitting next to her.

After he left, that same woman began making racist remarks about him. I strongly feel the company should protect its staffs from this kind of hateful, discriminatory behaviour. I felt genuinely sorry for him—during such a busy peak time, he was rushing around doing his best, like a headless chicken. I hope the company should take the correct steps to make the environment less toxic.

My partner does not eat mushrooms EVER, he ordered stake which comes with mushrooms he enjoyed it so much his plate was completely empty! My pork belly was lush too! Great food and good price, would definitely recommend

Red Chilli

Been using red chilli for 15 years and still have not found anywhere that does better curry. The staff are always lovely and polite, the food is amazing and even after having to move 5 miles away i still make the trip to get a decent curry and its so worth it. 5 stars from me.

While on holiday the family fancied a kebab night. It's always a chance when choosing somewhere and you don't know the area. However, this place didn't let us down. Everyone enjoyed their meals so I would definitely recommend Towyn Pizza & Kebab House.

Not been here for a few years, it was a regular place to go at one time. They only take cash, so be warned, I had stopped before to get food, but didn't, due to it being only cash, which in this day and age is ridiculous. But there you go, so many more could enjoy the food as much as I did.
Mixed kebab with Garlic mayo on my salad, it was excellent.

Wow, well what a find! Who would have thought such a fun lively place existed in sleepy old Abergele. A micro bar with excellent range of real ale and lagers plus a huge range of gins. The day we visited there was a singer on doing range of 60s-90s and she was fabulous. The ladies behind the bar were welcoming, friendly and great beer recommendations. The beers were fantastic, the prices really reasonable ( approx £4 a pint although I suggest half pints to sample the range.). It was clean, modern, vibrant and really made my holiday. If you just visit one place in Abergele, make it this one.

The Yacht

We went to the yacht today for a carvery. The food was absolutely amazing, well cooked and the choice of meat was excellent. There were 2 size plates large or small, to be honest the small was enough. My granddaughter was with us today and the way staff looked after her was just lovely. She’s a fussy eater and the manager made sure her plate had enough food on to fill her up. The prices are cheap for what you get and you will leave with a full stomach. We will definitely go back. We can’t thank the staff enough for their excellent service.

Little Indian Chef

We visited the Little Indian Chef while staying at Bron Y Wendon. It was only a 10 minute walk so seemed like the perfect place to finish our long drive from Yorkshire. The staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere was very welcoming and cosy. We ordered starters, sides and curries and enjoyed everything we ordered. We would recommend visiting here if you are staying in the nearby caravan sites or just passing by.

The Beach Cafe

Always a warm and friendly welcome upon arriving. Staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Cheese and red onion panini with chips was delicious as was the decaf cappuccino.
Returned this morning for brunch and asked if it would be possible to have a vegetarian large breakfast and the owner/chef was more than happy to do this for me. When it arrived there was plenty on the plate, fresh tomatoes and mushrooms, hash browns and beans and brown toast with real butter. Delicious and filling and a clean plate.
Lovely selection of cakes so I bought some to take home with me.
Thanks once again Nick and team.

Lovely meal and service was spot on. The waiter even went as far as to humour us and show us how to use chopsticks despite how hopeless we were haha. Food was lovely and there’s a LOT to chose from. My suggestion would be to order less than you think you need as the portions were a really good size so no need for unnecessary sides etc. food was tasty and very reasonable for the price. Toilets are very clean which is always good to see and there was an overall welcoming atmosphere. Will 100% be returning.

Sandy bay has been taken over by the Knightley group and as ever with this organisation. It is well managed and staff are hard working and dedicated. The pub itself was in need of love, and some money has been straight to bring back to an acceptable standard.
The market caters to young families and has entertainment every weekend. The food served was fine for a snack. I commend the improvement and worth a visit, much better than before. To be 5 stars need to further update and modernise

We stayed at Tanrallt for the week and ended up eating at the cliff restaurant twice. The first time, I had the BBQ chicken pizza—it was seriously delicious and packed with flavour. My mum, who doesn’t eat much, had the kids’ sausage and mash, which was just right for her.

We went back for the Sunday carvery and wow—honestly one of the best I’ve had! The meat was super tender, and the shared skillet of veggies was amazing. The dauphinoise potatoes and cauliflower cheese were so good, and there was loads of gravy (which I love!).

Prices were really reasonable for what you get, and the staff were all so lovely and attentive. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Thoroughly enjoyed our food from here. The batter on the fish was light and not overly greasy. The portion sizes were superb and the fruity curry sauce was immense! I would return just for the curry sauce alone.
