The Wheatsheaf, 46 Heath Rd, Upton, Cheshire, ChesterIt was my first time visiting this place, and it was incredibly busy and crowded. I wanted to share my experience because I think it might be helpful, especially for the person who served us. He was such a lovely man—his name is Danny (I found out from another staff member). I’m not sure if he was the manager, but he was dressed very professionally and carried himself in that way.
Although there was quite a long delay with our food, Danny came over and politely explained the situation in the kitchen. To make up for it, he kindly offered my husband a complimentary pint, which we really appreciated. We were seated at table 20, and nearby there was a lady with a large group at table 11. She was unfairly blaming him for the delay and being quite rude to him, even after he had explained what was happening. I’m pretty sure she might have put some bad reviews on him as she was telling to the man who was sitting next to her.
After he left, that same woman began making racist remarks about him. I strongly feel the company should protect its staffs from this kind of hateful, discriminatory behaviour. I felt genuinely sorry for him—during such a busy peak time, he was rushing around doing his best, like a headless chicken. I hope the company should take the correct steps to make the environment less toxic.

Towyn Rd, AbergeleMy partner does not eat mushrooms EVER, he ordered stake which comes with mushrooms he enjoyed it so much his plate was completely empty! My pork belly was lush too! Great food and good price, would definitely recommend

Crown Bach, Bridge St, AbergeleOne of the best take out meals I have ever had. Lived in Leicester for a few years had many curry's this was amazing. We had the set meal for 2 we changed a couple of items. And saw our food being made in the kitchen.

Towyn Pizza & Kebab House
Towyn Rd, Towyn, AbergeleWhile on holiday the family fancied a kebab night. It's always a chance when choosing somewhere and you don't know the area. However, this place didn't let us down. Everyone enjoyed their meals so I would definitely recommend Towyn Pizza & Kebab House.

They only take cash, so be warned, I had stopped before to get food, but didn't, due to it being only cash, which in this day and age is ridiculous. But there you go, so many more could enjoy the food as much as I did.
Mixed kebab with Garlic mayo on my salad, it was excellent.

Towyn Rd, Towyn, AbergeleNice place and friendly staff. We ordered a small and medium breakfast, the medium was bigger than expected. Food was lovely, can't fault it. Really fast service, didn't have to wait long for food.I would definitely recommend and will be coming back.

I work next to it at farmfoods and as a duty Manager my time is limited, I order via the app and everytime they have had my order correct and always ready and my selected time, the sandwiches are always freshly made and delicious.Thank you ?

Although, to be fair, I've not been in or bought anything for about a year.
Friendly staff.
The ease of ordering was very good, with all the self ordering machines in working order.
And I didn't have to wait that long for my burger etc, even though it was quite busy inside and at the drive through.
Everywhere was clean and tidy, including the immediate outside dinning area.
There wasn't even any sign of litter in the car parking area.

The Promenade, Pensarn, AbergelePoor man serving was on his own, initially, and obviously busy (Thursday lunchime). He was very apologetic. It did not matter. The jacket potato was the best I've had in ages. I had a jacket potato with cheese and beans. The side salad was exactly what I'd want: red onion, peppers, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, no dressing, perfect! It didn't feel like a long wait. Toasties were good quality. We sat outside, with our dog. There were plenty of benches and water was provided in bowls for dogs. There weelre several other people there with dogs too. The coffee was so-so, I'd choose a different drink next time. Toilet narrow but good. Would recommend it as a stopping off point if you are travelling through like we were. I use a wheelchair but didn't go inside.

Marine Rd, Pensarn, AbergeleWe went to the yacht today for a carvery. The food was absolutely amazing, well cooked and the choice of meat was excellent. There were 2 size plates large or small, to be honest the small was enough. My granddaughter was with us today and the way staff looked after her was just lovely. She’s a fussy eater and the manager made sure her plate had enough food on to fill her up. The prices are cheap for what you get and you will leave with a full stomach. We will definitely go back. We can’t thank the staff enough for their excellent service.

The Sandy Bay Inn
Sandbank Rd, Towyn, AbergeleSandy bay has been taken over by the Knightley group and as ever with this organisation. It is well managed and staff are hard working and dedicated. The pub itself was in need of love, and some money has been straight to bring back to an acceptable standard.
The market caters to young families and has entertainment every weekend. The food served was fine for a snack. I commend the improvement and worth a visit, much better than before. To be 5 stars need to further update and modernise

22 Market St, AbergeleLovely meal and service was spot on. The waiter even went as far as to humour us and show us how to use chopsticks despite how hopeless we were haha. Food was lovely and there’s a LOT to chose from. My suggestion would be to order less than you think you need as the portions were a really good size so no need for unnecessary sides etc. food was tasty and very reasonable for the price. Toilets are very clean which is always good to see and there was an overall welcoming atmosphere. Will 100% be returning.

The burger was tender and homemade chips were again amazing, well recommended and view from restaurant is amazing. Thanks to simona for great service and chef matty for excellent food.

Sandbank Rd, Towyn, AbergeleThoroughly enjoyed our food from here. The batter on the fish was light and not overly greasy. The portion sizes were superb and the fruity curry sauce was immense! I would return just for the curry sauce alone.
The staff were friendly and super efficient. Will would definitely recommend.

The Harp Inn
Market St, AbergeleWe visit friends in pensarn ..we have often had Sunday lunch at the Harp Inn we have been again and as usual had excellent service and a delicious
Sunday roast which is always hot meat delicious and fresh vegetables.
The staff are very friendly and they welcomed 4 of us and our three westie dogs.
They also provided Sunday dinner for the dogs.
Thanks to chef and all the Staff and I'm sure we will be back in the near future

10 Sandbank Rd, Towyn, AbergeleWe went to Ma's Kitchen for breakfast this morning and it was beautiful, the owners and staff couldn't do enough for you they was so accommodating to all our needs. The Hoptimist Abergele
32 Market St, AbergeleWow, well what a find! Who would have thought such a fun lively place existed in sleepy old Abergele. A micro bar with excellent range of real ale and lagers plus a huge range of gins. The day we visited there was a singer on doing range of 60s-90s and she was fabulous. The ladies behind the bar were welcoming, friendly and great beer recommendations. The beers were fantastic, the prices really reasonable ( approx £4 a pint although I suggest half pints to sample the range.). It was clean, modern, vibrant and really made my holiday. If you just visit one place in Abergele, make it this one.

Cosy Club Bar (Cambria Pub)
Gaingc Rd, Towyn, AbergeleOk little pub, walked past it a few times then went in one day, service is fine, prices are reasonable to the others on the main Towyn Road.
Tend to be the older generation who are there , nice on a sunny day outside on the tables.
Right at the side of the caravan site so handy to get back.
I will be going back again next time Im visiting Towyn.
