Units 3&4, King St, Brynmawr, Ebbw ValeWas so pleased to find a great restaurant in the area. They managed to fit us in as a walk in table. The decor is great, it has a really upmarket feel to it and the staff were really friendly. The food was fantastic and service was prompt and friendly. The kids ordered pizzas, which were larger than I expected, but were so good, my normally fussy eaters demolished the lot. I had tagliatelle with chicken and mushrooms and it was delicious. Reasonably priced for the quality of the experience. Was a rainy Tuesday night and the place was filling up by the time we left at 1830, am not surprised. Will be making regular family trips back.

1 Clarence St, Brynmawr, Ebbw ValeChristmas meal night out ALL the food was cooked great. I like my veg cooked, not raw. Loads of extra trays brought out to us of cauliflower cheese, carrots peas etc. extra gravy boats too. Oh, and the gravy was great. NOT watery mix stuff. Home made. Loads of turkey Staff serving and the bar staff very friendly. Will go again.

The Homestead Cafè
85 Bailey St, Brynmawr, Ebbw ValeI stopped at this CAFE on a really long bike ride and the staff were really friendly, it was that typical Welsh hospitality. Only had a coffee and a fizzy pop but would absolutely recommend anybody else to come here on their bike rides. There was ample seating outside and you could easily see your bike through the window when you went inside to order. Thanks ?

They also do a curry night on a Thursday, (curry and a pint) which is very tasty. I highly recommend this place.

The Bailey Arms
The Baileys Arms, School Terrace, Cwm, Ebbw ValeMe and 3 friends visited the Bailey,Arms today 4th Dec for the first time for Afternoon tea and it was lovely well worth £12-50 per person would highly recommend it ,the food was lovely and plenty of it ,the staff made us welcome. The pub is lovely and clean will definitely being going back

I feel smiling valley prices are still very reasonable and more than fair for the quality of food. Just had salt and chilli prawns and they were amazing. 5 stars from me!

Drinks and food good value and the service received was just great. Just sad that we had to find out on such a sad occasion. Thanks all for making this sad time more enjoyable.

34 Bailey St, Brynmawr, Ebbw ValeWe are located in Blaenavon and this is by far our Chinese Takeaway of choice. The food is always hot, flavour some and plentiful for the money. Through the year we have had take outs as well Christmas Eve and New Years Eve and it never disappoints with friendly delivery drivers! Highly recommended and look forward to many more in 2024!

86 Bailey St, Brynmawr, Ebbw ValeCod dips are generous portions. Grandchildren love the chicken nuggets £2.50 for 5 chunky 100%chocken breast nuggets which are tasty. The small portions were enough to split between us all. Food was fresh there is a good menu selection on the wall which is reasonably priced, but also look on the counter top by the door they are also serving. samosas, garlic mushrooms, mozzarella sticks etcThere are two entrances to the shop the rear entrance is flat and wheelchair accessible. Front entrance has one low step. Limited seating in shop to eat in. Suitable for children. Not suitable for vegan options as meats are cooked in the same oil. Parking available in street outside. Overall a great takeaway with friendly staff and no doubt will be back in the future.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options available.Kid-friendliness: Suitable for childrenParking: Outside on street.Wheelchair accessibility: Think the rear entrance in wheelchair accessible. Morgan's Wine Bar
62-64 Bethcar St, Ebbw ValeSunday roast dinners. Really enjoyable and very good value. Place was packed so booking on Sundays highly recommended. We have been back to Morgan's quite a few times since my last post. Food is really good but the menu rarely changes which is a bit boring. Regular additions or deletions to the menu would be more interesting. Apart from that it is a good pub for food and drinks.

Drive Thru, Blaina Rd, Brynmawr, Nantyglo, Ebbw ValeNice little place to stop for a coffee but we were disappointed that we didn't get discount with the blue light card that we had to find out how much we were in a spend and then by a card with the discount applied not very convenient also the staff were not very attentive when I was trying to get into the place it said push for assistance I'm a wheelchair user did not get any assistance

Cowgirls burgers
89 Bethcar St, Ebbw ValeMe and my partner ordered food from cowgirl burgers the food was great however the only thing that let down the meal was that my boyfriend had requested no sauce in his burger and no salad however even though he’d asked to have those bits removed the burger still arrived with all of the contents that he’d specifically asked not to have. Thankfully this was not due to an allergy and just preference, however this might’ve been a different case if he’d ask to have the items removed due to allergy reasons. I would order from them again but only on the basis that they take requests to remove items from the meal more seriously.
