1 Upper High St, BargoedWe have visited for Sunday lunch three occasions. The meals are tasty, plenty of meat and gorgeous tasting gravy. The restaurant is clean and modern and you can tell every effort has been made to provide you with a good experience, the downside ....the loud music you cannot hold a conversation if you're sat towards the back of the restaurant. We asked on 3 occasions throighout our meal, if the music could be turned down, which was acknowledged then gradually turned back up. When we go out as a family, part of the experience is to have quality time and /or celebrate. But you cannot do this with such loud background noise particularly with elderly parents. Such a shame on the occasions it was raised they choose to ignore the requests.

25 High St, BargoedThe staff were exceptional, caring and go above and beyond, the food was outstanding well worth the money, children and pets are welcome I would highly recommend this place and I will go back.

4, Trafalgar Buildings, BargoedMy partner and I have this often and we love their food! They are always polite, friendly, and even make a vegetarian dish that’s not on the menu for my vegetarian GF. Hopefully they will add chili pepper tofu to their menu permanently. Cantonese in Bargoed is delicious, and we recommend them! :)

1 Henry St, BargoedLove this Chinese and have been eating here for years! Chips are proper chips and a lovely server who always has a cheery disposition ? It can get busy though, especially during the weekend. So if you want your meal quickly during this time then I'd recommend picking it up or schedule a time for delivery.

Andrea and the girls have their work cut out with my family cos there’s so many, but we always enjoy. It’s not an easy job catering for large numbers at one sit down but they always do an amazing job. That’s why we go back again and again xx

173 Commercial St, Aberbargoed, BargoedBooked with a friend for Sunday lunch and all I can say is that the dinner was absolutely beautiful- every mouthful. Would 100% recommend for Sunday lunch and normal menu through the week. Lovely atmosphere within the pub and staff are super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come again for some food and catch up with friends.

136 Park Pl, Gilfach, BargoedOne of the best Chinese restaurants around! Only negative is that it's cash only, so pretty often I find myself ordering elsewhere to save the hassle. If this place was on Just eat/ Foodhub it's customer base would sky rocket!

Park Pl, BargoedJust had our wedding reception at tThe Capel Hotel. It was an absolutely amazing night. The function room looked beautiful and the staff were superb. I very highly recommend them. Will definitely be using them for special occasions in the future. First class service ? ?

12 High St, BargoedReally friendly staff, a lovely clean cafe and excellent food. We had some omelettes which were "spot on"! Nice side salad and washed down with some coffees. No trifle available but the custard slices were a very good substitute. Needless to say a return visit is necessary for the trifle! See you all soon and thanks very much for what you do.

38 Merchant St, Pontlottyn, BargoedBest chips. Visiting from Australia, stopped in to get chips to take back to the hotel. Went back the next arvo to get some more. I'd be there again this evening if it wernt closed on Sunday. Staff very nice..I don't like seafood so I can only comment on the hot chips. With vinegar and salt..with tomato sauce..YUM.

Tasty Kitchen
106 Commercial St, Cardiff, Aberbargoed, BargoedTried Tasty Kitchen last night for the first time. Special Chow Mein, Beef Curry, Chicken Foo Yung, Chicken and cashew nuts and chips. Have to say it's the tastiest Chinese we've had for years, well cooked and meat was tender. Only small complaint was with the chips so we'll have egg fried rice next time instead of chips. Definitely will be back.

U S A Fried Chicken
25 Hanbury Rd, Bargoedfirst time having USA chicken, went to the shop to order it and was greeted with a nice welcome. Food was still hot getting back home (15 mins) and it was all absolutely stunning, chicken was perfect loads of food and a few extra hot wings in the box. Than you so much. Will be definitely coming back.

Aberbargoed Indian Takeaway
48 Commercial St, Aberbargoed, BargoedI’ve been eating at this takeaway since I was a teenager the best takeaway I’ve ever had, me and my partner usually eat out at a lot of Indian restaurants (as well as it’s one of our favourite food) and aberbargoed takeaway is by far the best, they have ranked 1# for us , we have also recommended them to friends and family who also say their food is amazing and they haven’t bothered with their local Indians they even take the time to travel for this takeaway.
They need to become a restaurant now why to nice to just be a takeaway
Also would like to add the owner is a lovely person and great service and everyone who works with him all the delivery staff are lovely the fact google has rated this a 3.6 shocking it’s a 5 star any day of the week

Portions were generous and everything tasted authentic. Maria provided outstanding customer service — she was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend and will definitely be ordering again!
