King Edward St, BarmouthWell from the moment we checked in the staff were very friendly and professional. Room was very spacious and well equipped. Fridge and fan which we didn't expect and the tea tray didn't disappoint. We stayed for five nights and even though we were right above the front door noise was expected but not really an issue. You are pre-warned before booking: guests have their own entrance so don't have to go through bar if don't want to which was nice. You can choose your breakfast the night before from a tick list but don't have to: we found it very helpful. Going for breakfast in the morning was a look forward to moment because from the first morning to the last we were greeted with a smile and a laugh from the exceptional team of the chef and especially Brian(Daddy). Paul(Puppy). And banana. We had such a laugh and set us up for the day with a smile:
Can't recommend this place to stay enough. We had a fantastic time there: will definitely be going again.

Isis Pizzeria
The Quay, BarmouthStaying in Barmouth & came across this little pizza place whilst out walking.\nWe had our dog so sat outside overlooking the beautiful harbour.\nOrdered 2 pizzas & fries. Staff very friendly, food was delivered quickly & it was absolutely delicious the best pizza we have had in a long time.\nHighly recommended.

The Barmouth Bar @ Grill
Church St, BarmouthFully booked when we tried to walk in, so returned the next night having booked quickly over the telephone. There seemed to be inconsistency amongst waiting staff with people walking in - some staff would say there are no tables whatsoever, whereas others would offer a table on the condition it was vacated by the reservation time.
Staff were knowledgeable about allergens even before checking the book, though the entire kids menu either had dairy or soya in (even a simple meal like sausage and chips).
Food was brought out quickly and was very enjoyable.

The Mermaid
Jubilee Rd, BarmouthMini Fish'n'Chips comes in two price points - excellent value & really generous portions. Few available seats to eat in. Add-ons include Mushy peas or beans etc + different sauces. Sunday opening during Twixmas - queue was massive but throughput very efficiently handled. They deserve to be that busy. Hope we'll have another opportunity to visit in the future.

Marine Parade, BarmouthFriendly staff. Room number 3 was ok but tired and toilet with partition for shower felt very tight for space. No filter coffee only instant, which for me was a disappointment. Lovely location with plenty of car park spaces.

Glad we did try as fish cooked to order which I like and chips were delicious! \nBusiness up the sale but hopefully the current owner can pass on his knowledge!\n\nDefinitely recommend!!!

The Promenade, BarmouthBurgers are truly superb,filling and tasty, chips are pretty bland, from other people who were there at a similar time, they also reckoned they are really good with anything griddled, but mediocre with anything fried.

The Promenade, Beach Rd, BarmouthVisited today for a bite to eat. Two sandwiches with salad, tortillas and coleslaw with 2 cans of pop set me back just under £20 which was a bit eye watering. The meals took a while to come out, however the meals were nice. Staff were friendly.

BarmouthOn a community trip with our residents from Telford today go in for an ice cream ask the Lady for a waffle ice cream she did us a wafer one i said i dont want that cone i asked for a waffle one and pointed at the one 1 requested. She then took a crappy attitude and shouted at me and accused me of touching the cone. To which I told her I didnt she then snapped at me ,she is really busy and hasn't got time for people like me. In disbelief I told her she can forget the Ice cream I will go elsewhere. She then shouted good,bye....... Absolutely disgusting she gets the order wrong and instead Of correcting her mistake she has a rude and disgusting attitude Never have I been more disgusted. lf this is how you treat customers.....wow
