King Edward St, BarmouthWell from the moment we checked in the staff were very friendly and professional. Room was very spacious and well equipped. Fridge and fan which we didn't expect and the tea tray didn't disappoint. We stayed for five nights and even though we were right above the front door noise was expected but not really an issue. You are pre-warned before booking: guests have their own entrance so don't have to go through bar if don't want to which was nice. You can choose your breakfast the night before from a tick list but don't have to: we found it very helpful. Going for breakfast in the morning was a look forward to moment because from the first morning to the last we were greeted with a smile and a laugh from the exceptional team of the chef and especially Brian(Daddy). Paul(Puppy). And banana. We had such a laugh and set us up for the day with a smile:
Can't recommend this place to stay enough. We had a fantastic time there: will definitely be going again.

The Quay, BarmouthThe welcome I received from ordering to collecting the pizzas when ready was first class.
I was well looked after and all questions and requests were met with a friendly smile and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this pizzeria!!

Bistro Bermo
6 Church St, BarmouthWas lucky to stumble upon this restaurant while we were visiting Barmouth for the day. Not a big restaurant but the interior was elegantly decorated with bossa nova playing in the background. I had duck pate for starters and it was up to standard. My partner had poached egg, Stilton and mushrooms which was incredible! We also had rack of lamb which was very tender. Definitely worth visiting again!

The Captain's Table
Church St, BarmouthFriendly, welcoming and informal restaurant offering a range of dishes. Chose the special which was a whole seabream, delicious. The skin was crispy and salty and the flesh beautifully cooked. Came with a wide selection of vegetables. Would definitely return ?

The Barmouth Bar @ Grill
Church St, BarmouthFully booked when we tried to walk in, so returned the next night having booked quickly over the telephone. There seemed to be inconsistency amongst waiting staff with people walking in - some staff would say there are no tables whatsoever, whereas others would offer a table on the condition it was vacated by the reservation time.
Staff were knowledgeable about allergens even before checking the book, though the entire kids menu either had dairy or soya in (even a simple meal like sausage and chips).
Food was brought out quickly and was very enjoyable.

Church St, BarmouthBasic decor, no ambience and staff seemed overwhelmed and chaotic. Waiter constantly apologising due to wait for drinks, order and food.
However....we found the staff very friendly and attentive to the best of their ability on this particular busy night. The food did take a while but it was worth it. Everything was fresh, hot and very tasty.

Marine Parade, BarmouthFriendly staff. Room number 3 was ok but tired and toilet with partition for shower felt very tight for space. No filter coffee only instant, which for me was a disappointment. Lovely location with plenty of car park spaces.

1 King Edward St, BarmouthPopped round here on a camping trip with the lads for some fish n chips. Food was pretty lovely, chips were done perfectly and the fish was great as well, although a bit soggy. Not much to say for the atmosphere, was a pretty simple place. Would still reccomend ?

Pavilion Cafe
The Promenade, Beach Rd, BarmouthVisited today for a bite to eat. Two sandwiches with salad, tortillas and coleslaw with 2 cans of pop set me back just under £20 which was a bit eye watering. The meals took a while to come out, however the meals were nice. Staff were friendly.

Jubilee Rd, BarmouthDon't be put off by bad reviews and dated interior. Being Chinese food mad, I was craving my favourite chicken satay and egg fried rice whilst on a mini break. Had to wait 20 minutes for the food to be cooked from fresh but all good things come to those who wait. It was delicious and plenty of it, I was really happy as satays can taste so different from different takeaways but this was really tasty and just perfect.

BarmouthOn a community trip with our residents from Telford today go in for an ice cream ask the Lady for a waffle ice cream she did us a wafer one i said i dont want that cone i asked for a waffle one and pointed at the one 1 requested. She then took a crappy attitude and shouted at me and accused me of touching the cone. To which I told her I didnt she then snapped at me ,she is really busy and hasn't got time for people like me. In disbelief I told her she can forget the Ice cream I will go elsewhere. She then shouted good,bye....... Absolutely disgusting she gets the order wrong and instead Of correcting her mistake she has a rude and disgusting attitude Never have I been more disgusted. lf this is how you treat customers.....wow
