Popped in and saw a bit of a queue, but we were only ordering two reg chips, sausage and fish cake. The lady on the till was very polite and the food was very nice and well presented when we eventually got it, but I was not prepared for the 20min wait, which I thought was a really long time for such a small order. Will try other chippy next time to compare wait time.
Great chippy with plenty of seating available with the added bonus of allowing dogs. Staff are really polite and helpful. Food is well cooked and the fish is beautiful. Plenty of different fish available on the menu like cod, haddock, plaice, whitebait and salmon fishcakes. Spotted their sign upon leaving the castle, and popped in, admittedly 5ish mins before they opened for lunch. Was greeted with a smile, and despite confirming they hadn't quite opened up yet, were pleasant and accommodating, cooking chips fresh for us! Two portions of chips were really affordable, and arguably one of the better quality chips we've had in ages! Ended our little Welsh break away perfectly. Thank you!
