Delicious food. Service lets it down. Staff are nice and polite but further training needed as they are busy and you quickly get forgotten. Starters came quickly and mains but had to wait over an hour for them to take away the dishes despite being asked 4 times if we can order desert and needed the plates taken away. I often stop for lunch when passing...Gavin & Katie have got it right. Excellent chef who really knows how to turn classic fusion cooking into something special without it costing the earth.The Guinness is good, the wine list comprehensive with something for everyone.Parking: Easy

Invited to a 50th birthday party.Room upstairs was just right for the occasion.It's well maintained and clean.Buffet was good, needed more accompaniments for the cold meats, apple sauce/horseradish/mustard. Sausage rolls excellent, frittata was lacking abit and watery.On the whole I will be back to try the restaurant food.Please get Doom bar ale.
