The Pheasantry was perfect for our family of 9, ages...7 to 75. It's set in a very large, beautiful and well established garden with many trees and shrubs. The house is 2/10ths of a mile in from the main road making it peaceful and private. We found the house to be spotless. There wasn't a single thing that we needed to clean. Great house with a fantastic garden. We were here for a walking holiday and the house was in a great location for Riverside walks. One small niggle was the fact that the original side of the house only had one bathroom to be shared with three bedrooms otherwise the house was wonderful. Great kitchen/diner. Lovely airy rooms, clean, crisp white bed linen and the house was spotless throughout. We had a great holiday here and can thoroughly recommend the Pheasantry.
