The steak meal was very nice but the chips weren't very nice. Less chips and better quality potatoes would improve the meal tremendously. I remember when they used to serve home made chips which were lovely.
The Sunday roast is really really good, very nice food and lots of it too. Served hot on warm plates, lots of choice of meats or veggie options too. Roast potatoes were amazing. Deserts were lovely. Only thing that was a bit off was the service, staff were a bit unbothered and just seemed like they needed a bit more training but could well have all been new staff to be fair. Sunday lunch for 4 and accompanied by a dog! Service was excellent as was the food and the atmosphere. We were made to feel very welcome and the whole experience was great. Great value for money, excellent Sunday roast and more than we could eat. We can't wait to come again! Highly recommended.
