Stopped into a friends local for Sunday lunch.We all had the topside of beer a few local cask ales and a great bottle of red.Nice atmosphere, vibrant, friendly staff that don’t mind stopping to have a chat with you.Food was prompt, hot and in good portion size. I feel very lucky that this is my local pub. Great food, really friendly staff and excellent pub vibes. One of the best Sunday roasts in the city. Dog and child friendly. Massive beer garden. Weekly quiz. Live

Went in for a couple of pints before heading to the Principality for the rugby. Ended up staying until the last second after finding a stellar IPA, watching the earlier game on the big screen, and ordering a plate of fried chicken after seeing how good it looked on the next table. Booking essential on busier days.
