The amount of gluten free options is great and they taste amazing - definitely will be coming again.

If you order any tandoori dish when eating in it comes out on a sizzling tray that’s garnished in lemon and coriander keeping it hot and easy to share with others. Portion sizes are very generous and staff are friendly and patient, giving recommendations if you’re indecisive or what to order. Would recommend locals and visitors to try if they haven’t previously.

Ship Inn, Tresaith
Ceredigion, Tresaith, CardiganVisited the Ship Inn on our travels along the Welsh coast. Beautiful surroundings, unfortunately the tide was in so we couldn’t see the waterfall.
Staff were very accommodating of our dog and baby, especially with my wife breastfeeding, and were very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely too, as was the gorgeous view.
Would recommend if you’re near Tresaith and are looking for somewhere to relax for a while and take in the beautiful scenery.

Seyran's Pizza
38 St Mary St, CardiganThe food here is always nice. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. The place is clean, and aside from the occasional slightly overcooked/dry meat, everything is great.
The only real problem is the latest price increases. You used to get a small kebab box with cheese when you ordered the chips and cheese. Now you get the small burger box of chips with cheese for £4.90, so they halved the amount you got whilst increasing the price by about a quid I think it was! That is my only real complaint.
I know others have said the meat lacks flavour, but I disagree with that. I also disagree that the burgers are 'mushy'. They do occasionally let the food go a little cold, especially when they are busy, since they leave the boxes open for a while while they build the kebab/ burger and add any sauces etc. This can mean the food can be a little colder if you get it delivered at a particularly busy time. Especially if you live a while away.
But, to be honest, I don't know a takeaway that doesn't have that problem. Especially for the people getting deliveries. It's a bit of an odd thing to moan about. Just bung it in the microwave for 30 seconds, or the air fryer for a minute.
I think this is one of the better takeaways in Cardigan. And they also open fairly late on the weekends. Which isn't great for those of us that live on the road, but it's great news for everyone else!!
If you fancy pizza, burgers, or kebabs, this is the place to come. I use this place all the time! :)

Very friendly owners, lovely setting on the river and very reasonable prices. The latte was excellent too. If you're looking for simple, no nonsense delicious seafood then look no further.

Llangoedmor, CardiganA lovely traditional pub with real character. The food was excellent, fresh, tasty, and great value. Service was spot on with a friendly and welcoming barman who made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, perfect for a country pub. And I have to say, the pint of Guinness was absolutely cracking, one of the best I’ve had. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Mwnt, CardiganSo pleased to discover this absolute gem of a cafe on our last day of holiday today. We’ve struggled to find GF food for my Son was has celiacs disease over the last few days on our travels, so he was overjoyed to enjoy GF chips today which were carefully prepped and labelled separately to keep him safe - just wonderful! Lovely food, a great coffee and those views, wow - favourite beach in Wales without doubt. Discovering Mwnt beach for the first time today but it’s safe to say we will be back - perfect place!

Finch's Square, CardiganThis is such a lovely little coffee shop with an adjacent mini-store. English breakfast was amazing with an option for a smaller and a large option (which I think is quite rare!) The owner is also really nice. Would definitely recommend this place :)

The Cardigan Arms
3 College Row, CardiganStumbled across this place whilst we were on holiday at Sarnau. Kids wanted fish and chips so after walking around cardigan we grabbed food from here, Queue was big (good sign) but they soon got through everyone. We then went back to the caravan. Still piping hot. Chips were the best I’ve had in years from a chip shop. Fish was lovely too. Batter was perfect. Not too thick of battery or sickly.
Was so good we returned at the end of the holiday too.

13 Pendre, CardiganNice welcome, very friendly, lovely tasty food, ham & pickle sandwiches with lovely thick ham. The chips are to die for. Lovely hot chocolate served hot too, sounds stupid but how many times I get a Luke warm drink is unreal. Definitely worth a stop and nice Cherry Bakewell slice

There is a good sized carpark for guests use.The family run business offers lovely food using sizzling stones to cook a great selection of fish , steaks etc at the table. The service was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. Our breakfasts were cooked to order and very good too. The breakfast is pre ordered the night before and a time slot is also arranged. Our twin room was a reasonable size and the ensuite bathroom with walk in shower was very clean , a good size with spotless towels.Some toiletries are supplied as is a hair drier. The beds were comfortable with spotless bedding. There was a fridge in the room, kettle and TV.
